TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: 11 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website polestarpilatesgcc.com or go.polestarpilatesgcc.com ("Website") and your purchase of, enrolment in, or participation in courses, workshops, training programs, examinations, events and other services offered through the Website.

The Website and services are operated by Connect Studio, trading through the Polestar Pilates GCC brand ("Polestar Pilates GCC", "we", "us" or "our"), located at Third Floor, Wadi Al Safa 5, Emirates Road 611, Dubailand, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By accessing the Website, registering for a course, making a payment or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Polestar Pilates GCC provides Pilates education and teacher-training programs, including in-person, online and hybrid courses, workshops, practicums, examinations and related educational services.

Specific course content, schedules, locations, educators, fees, requirements and inclusions are described on the applicable course page or enrolment documentation.

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to course content, schedules, educators, venues or delivery methods where necessary.

2. Eligibility and Enrolment

You are responsible for ensuring that you meet any prerequisites stated for the course or program you wish to attend.

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering or enrolling.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an enrolment where:

  • eligibility or prerequisite requirements have not been met;

  • information supplied during registration is materially inaccurate;

  • payment has not been received when due;

  • participation would create a health, safety or conduct concern; or

  • the course has reached capacity or cannot reasonably proceed.

3. Course Fees and Payment

Course fees are stated on the relevant course page, invoice, checkout page or enrolment agreement.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, additional expenses such as examinations, examination retakes, coaching or mentorship sessions, equipment rental, observation hours, travel, accommodation, certificate delivery or other optional services are not included.

Where VAT is applicable, it will be charged in accordance with UAE law.

Your place on a course is not guaranteed until the required payment or deposit has been received.

If an instalment plan is offered, you agree to pay all instalments on the dates specified. Failure to make an instalment payment may result in suspension from the program or withholding of course materials, examinations or certification until outstanding amounts have been paid.

4. Prices and Promotions

We may change prices at any time. A price change will not affect an enrolment that has already been confirmed and paid for, except where additional services are purchased separately.

Discounts and promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions and may not be combined unless expressly stated.

5. Cancellation by the Participant

Cancellation and refund eligibility will depend on the specific course purchased, the date of cancellation, whether course materials or digital content have already been provided, and any cancellation terms communicated during enrolment.

Where a course page, checkout page, invoice or enrolment agreement contains specific cancellation or refund terms, those terms form part of these Terms.

Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to:

[email protected]

Any refund or cancellation restriction is subject to applicable UAE consumer protection law and does not limit any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Transfers and Deferrals

Requests to transfer an enrolment to another course, location, intake or date are considered at our discretion and may be subject to availability, administrative fees and any costs already incurred.

Unless agreed by us in writing, enrolments may not be transferred to another person.

7. Cancellation or Changes by Polestar Pilates GCC

We may postpone, reschedule, relocate or cancel a course or individual session where reasonably necessary, including because of educator availability, insufficient enrolment, venue issues, government restrictions, health or safety concerns, events beyond our reasonable control or other operational circumstances.

Where we cancel an entire course and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, participants will be entitled to an appropriate refund of fees paid for the cancelled course.

We are not responsible for indirect costs incurred by participants, such as flights, accommodation, visas, transport or loss of income, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Participants are therefore advised not to make non-refundable travel arrangements unless necessary.

8. Online Courses and Digital Content

Some programs may include live online sessions, recorded training, downloadable materials or access to third-party learning platforms.

You are responsible for maintaining suitable internet access, equipment and software.

Login details and course access are for the registered participant only and may not be shared.

Recording, copying, downloading, distributing, reselling or making course content available to another person without our written permission is prohibited.

Access periods for recorded or online materials are specified on the applicable course page or during enrolment.

9. Attendance and Completion Requirements

Professional teacher-training courses may include mandatory attendance, practice hours, observation hours, teaching hours, practicums, assessments, check-offs, examinations or other completion requirements.

Payment of course fees or attendance at a course does not automatically guarantee certification.

Certification is subject to successfully satisfying the applicable course and assessment requirements.

Participants are responsible for completing all required elements within any applicable deadlines.

10. Examinations and Certification

Where examinations or assessments are required, additional examination or retake fees may apply.

Certification is issued only where the participant has successfully completed the applicable requirements.

References on the Website to international recognition, professional qualifications or eligibility for third-party certification examinations are subject to the requirements of the relevant certification or professional body. We cannot guarantee acceptance by employers, regulators, professional bodies or authorities in any particular country.

11. Health and Physical Participation

Pilates training may involve physical activity.

You are responsible for determining whether you are physically able to participate safely and for informing the educator of any relevant injury, medical condition, pregnancy, physical limitation or other circumstance that could affect your participation.

Nothing provided through our Website or training programs constitutes individual medical diagnosis or medical advice.

Where appropriate, you should obtain advice from a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

You must follow reasonable health and safety instructions given by educators or venue staff.

12. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards educators, staff and other participants.

We may remove a participant from a course where their behaviour is abusive, discriminatory, threatening, disruptive, unsafe or materially interferes with the learning experience of others.

Serious misconduct may result in termination of participation without refund, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Intellectual Property

The Website, course materials, videos, manuals, graphics, photographs, trademarks, training methodologies and other educational materials are protected by intellectual property laws.

Your enrolment grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use course materials for your own education and professional development.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, license, upload, commercially exploit or create derivative training products from our materials without written permission from the relevant rights holder.

"Polestar Pilates" and associated names, marks and materials may be owned or licensed by Polestar Pilates or associated entities. Enrolment does not grant you ownership of or unrestricted rights to use those intellectual property rights.

14. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on the Website is accurate. However, course dates, educators, venues, fees, availability and other information may change.

Where there is an obvious pricing, typographical or administrative error, we reserve the right to correct it. If the correction materially affects an existing purchase, we will contact the affected customer.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The Website may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, payment processors, video platforms, learning systems or other services.

Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Polestar Pilates GCC and Connect Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website or participation in a course.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited under applicable UAE law, including applicable consumer protection legislation.

17. Privacy

Personal information collected through the Website or during enrolment is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

18. Force Majeure

We will not be responsible for delay, cancellation or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, government actions, travel restrictions, civil disturbance, venue closures, telecommunications failures or similar events.

Where such circumstances occur, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

The version published on the Website at the time of your purchase will generally apply to that transaction unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional requirements, disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
